Doma·Dope

About

Doma Dope is written and maintained by one person: a longtime domain collector who has spent more evenings than is reasonable reading potential names out loud in an empty room, waiting to hear whether they trip. There is no team here, no agency byline, no editorial board voting on headlines. Just someone who has bought, held, and let go of enough domains to have opinions worth writing down.

The site exists because that kind of judgment is usually kept private, traded quietly between people who already have it, and rarely written down in a form anyone else could actually use. These pages are an attempt to do that: to turn a fast, intuitive read into something closer to a repeatable method, without pretending it can be reduced to a formula.

Expect frameworks for judgment, honest opinions about what makes a name work, and the occasional argument against conventional naming advice. Do not expect a marketplace, an appraisal service, or a promise about what any domain will be worth later. That is a different business, and not this one.
